FIREFLIES
I remember as a child watching the darkness and smiling, when out of nowhere the light of the fireflies shone, lost in the longest space of the night.
Playing to find themselves in the darkness that forced them to illuminate black spaces,
Like earthly stars, and in the sky I imagined space fireflies.
And enjoyed when a pair of lights crossed to form a sphere of divinity,
My eyes watched smiling the courtship of a love that fought the vagrancy of a destiny That forced an encounter marked by dark distances.
